Tracy Wolak and Mary Ambrosi are ardent stray animal advocates, working hard to rescue, rehabilitate and train shelter and homeless animals to place them into loving homes. Together they Co-Founded Bully Baby Rescue, Inc. (BBR) in 2010, Tracy and Mary play key roles in the organization as President and Vice-President/Treasurer, respectively. Both Tracy and Mary are directly involved in our foster program, socialization, and raising homeless puppies, readying them for adoption.
Tracy has 30 years’ experience in dog training, drawing on her skills as a former police K9 handler, where she created her department’s first canine unit. Tracy is a US Navy veteran where she served as a Senior Chief Petty Officer, Military Working Dog handler and Military Kennel Supervisor. She served in Operations Noble Eagle and Iraqi Freedom.
Tracy and Mary have moved from their origins in New York to St Croix, US Virgin Islands. Tracy volunteers her time with the local animal shelter, training staff members on ways to train and care for their canine residents. She can often be found in neighborhoods, or in the bush, trapping both dogs and cats and getting them the care that they need in the hope of finding a forever home.
